Climate Change: Is it a Sign of End of the World?

By: Nisha Subash.

Human beings are sceptical about climate changes that have found a stress factor on our planet over a decade ago. Who began the good work is faithful to complete it.

By :Dr. Nithil Ann Varghese

Relationships are for a season, reason or lifetime. Likewise, one generation comes it passes by and next season takes over. There will always be reasons for the upliftment and togetherness of church. Ministers of the body of Christ and believers spiritual encounter with Holy Spirit remains the major rationale.

The unfailing steadfast love of the lord, his faithfulness, his sacrifice on the cross and the resurrection power revealing his glory in our lives, is the lifetime promise for the church.  I strongly believe for IPC Green Park Church Delhi, it is the profound faith in the solid word of God and being guided by Holy Spirit has led this far, that God enabled us to celebrate the 25 Grand Years. Read More

A thankful heart

By Sis. Jeny S Varghese

It was a totally weird morning as usual lost in my thoughts hurrying to my new job of being    an ‘operations trainee’.  Sitting in the metro and enjoying the sudden drizzling in the morning, my mind started flowing down to the past.  While the beauty of nature with the pouring rain as always mesmerized me, there was a strange pain in my heart dwelling up from deep down as a strong question came up in my mind. In the past few days were an outpour of great blessings. Read More

Where does the Young Generation Go?

By Sis. Jolly Jose

Adolescents (10–19 years) constitute about one-fifth of India’s population and young people (10–24 years) about one-third of the population. Embedded in this young population is a dynamic and vibrant group in the age category 15-24 years, who account for 19.6% of India’s population and constitute approximately 23.2 crores. Recognising the importance of youth in nation building and their potentialities to contribute positively to the economic output, the Government of India developed a National Youth Policy with a vision to empower the youth to achieve their full potentialities, and through them enable India to find its right place in the global community.  An exclusive health programme for adolescents, Rashtriya Kishor Swasthya Karyakram (RKSK) was launched by the Government for the age group of 10-19 years, which comprehensively addresses the health needs of the 243 million adolescents through Peer Educators and is strengthened by collaborations with other ministries and state governments. Read More

King David’s GPS

Trust God for great things

Mr. Jobin Koshy

According to the Oxford English Dictionary, the meaning of noun ‘trust’ is a firm belief in the reliability, truth, or ability of someone or something; and the verb ‘trust’ is to believe that someone is good and honest and will not harm you. Trusting is what we do; because of the faith we have been given. It is nothing but believing in the promises of God in all circumstances, even in those where the evidences seem to be contrary.

Frequently in life and in our day today living, we doubt God’s path. We wonder, if this really is the way? We become sceptical of the divine plan in our lives. We lose heart, our faith falters. God’s ways are frequently unique as said in Isaiah 55:8 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways”. We fail to see the full picture of God’s plan until it is unveiled to us. Read More

THE PIECE MAKER

By Shilpa Pauli.

In this world, broken things are despised and thrown out. Anything we no longer need, we throw away. Damaged goods are rejected, and that includes people. The world is full of people with broken hearts, broken spirits and broken relationships. We want to avoid suffering, death, sin, ashes. But we live in a world crushed and broken and torn. Only hope we can have is when we accept the reality that God Himself visited this world to redeem. We receive his poured-out life and being allowed the high privilege of suffering with Him, may then pour ourselves out for others. Read More

HEART TO MIND

King Solomon admonishes us in proverbs to "guard our heart with all diligence, for from which flow springs of life". Next Jesus reminds us about our nature, "out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks",   a good man who brings good things from his good stored and an evil man brings Evil things out of  his evil store of treasure - that is what stored in our hearts.  Read More
